About breeding

Life revolves around everyday routines, and a pet should be a natural and seamless part of daily life. Although we actively participate in shows, both our dogs and cats live with us as beloved family members. For me, the ideal companion is one that not only conforms to the breed standard but also functions well in everyday life.

Our puppies and kittens are raised as part of the family from the very beginning, becoming accustomed to a variety of sounds, situations, handling, and household activities. This early socialization helps them grow into confident, well-adjusted companions that can easily adapt to life in their new homes.

About The Breeder

I am a veterinary nurse and work at a small animal clinic. My professional passions include nutrition and feeding of cats and dogs, as well as internal medicine.

In addition to dog shows, I enjoy various types of handcrafts, hiking with my dogs, and I'm an avid listener of many genres of music.

I completed the cat breeding course in 2020 and the dog breeding course in 2022. My affix, Laniorum, was approved for cats in 2024 and for dogs in 2025.

I graduated as a veterinary nurse in 2022 and 2025 an advanced qualification, specializing in canine nutrition and internal medicine. Before transitioning to small animals, I worked as a substitute on dairy farms.

I serve on the board of the Akita Association of Finland (Akita Ry) and am an active member.

How It All Began?

The first Neva Masquerade cats and Akita arrived at our farmhouse in Jurva at the end of the same year. Sisters Fiona and Cake moved to South Ostrobothnia in September 2020, and their little sister, Shion the Akita, arrived in Finland from Russia in December that same year.

Both the first individuals and the breed choices have turned out to be perfect matches for me—I can no longer imagine having any other breed of cat or dog in my home.
