Shion is a friendly and calm Akita who knows her worth. She's happy to greet new people but soon retreats to enjoy her own space. When it comes to unfamiliar dogs, she's largely indifferent—she doesn't seek conflict, but she doesn't go out of her way to engage either. As a younger dog, Shion got along well with others, and even now she tolerates familiar dogs within her personal space. Leaving the door ajar is not advised—her prey drive is very much intact. Shion enjoys her meals in small "tapas-style" portions and has never been one to gobble her food. She savors one bite now, another later. At home, her favorite spot is at the foot of the bed: close enough to be part of the pack, but with just the right amount of distance.
